Encoder is used to determine the position, speed and direction axis engine speed mechanical movement, etc. The information they provide for various applications, : such as monitor positioning rotary worktable, take put, set machine, packaging, robots, etc. Either type of, all encoders provide the type of these will be used as a reference point orientation control. Optical encoder is the most accurate standard style of encoder, and are the most common ones in industrial automation applications (figure 1).
