Usually the encoder has three operating power: 5Vdc, 5-13

Vdc or 11-26Vdc. If you buy the encoder is 11-26Vdc, you can use the PLC's 24V power supply, it must be noted:

1. The current consumption of the encoder in the PLC power supply range.

2. Parallel case the encoder output, connection to the PLC I / O points, need to understand the encoder signal levels are push-pull (or push-pull) output or open collector output, the case of open-collector output, N-type and P two, the need and the PLC I / O of the same polarity. The case of push-pull outputs are connected without any problems.

3. The driver output encoder case, the general signal level is 5V, the connection time to be careful not to let the 24V supply level series with the signal wiring 5V signal terminal damage to the encoder.
