Rotary encoder Maintenance！

The rotary encoder is a transducer for speed and displacement feedback with  photoelectric technology. It is mainly used for servo motors, asynchronous motors, stepper motors, elevator traction machine, elevator door and the mechanical axis and other automation control system to ensure mechanical precision and stable operation, thereby increasing productivity and safety operations. Maintenance work of rotary encoder plays an important role in making the encoder work normally.

The soil should be wiped to keep rotary encoder clean after each operation. External revealable machined surfaces should be coated with grease to prevent rust; each lubrication point should be based on the table of lubrication requirements to fill grease; keep the lubrication of wire rope and clean.

Before operation, something should be checked as following:

1. Whether the oil line of hydraulic system is leakage, whether each oil pipe connection is loose; whether oil pump connection part is fastened and reliable;

2. Whether the rope is damaged severely; whether the main winch leaks oil ; whether various instruments, lights, safety devices are working properly.

3. Always check the structure coupling bolts, welded parts and structural components aew damaged, deformation or loose phenomenon.

For the Maintenance work, the corresponding record work should be done to better understand the work of the rotary encoder.
