① Check the number of pulses received PLC or code value is correct;
② take Oscilloscope waveform;
③ voltage profile with a multimeter test output is normal.
NPN output when the encoder: Measuring positive power supply and signal output line, the output transistor turns ON when the voltage approaches the supply voltage, the output transistor turns OFF voltage close to 0V.
PNP output when the encoder: Measuring the negative power supply and signal output line, the output transistor turns ON when the voltage approaches the supply voltage, the output transistor turns OFF when a voltage close to 0V
