The encoder currently used in the elevator is mainly an incremental encoder. It is used together with a frequency converter or other speed control equipment to provide speed and position information for the speed control system or the control system. Generally, a frequency divider is required to perform pulse equivalent transform. The encoder installation is mainly connected coaxially with the traction machine motor to measure the speed and position feedback of the motor. The door motor of the inverter door system is also equipped with an encoder as a feedback component for the speed and opening of the switch door.
Basic principle of elevator encoder
The elevator photoelectric rotary encoder only has 3 code tracks on one code disc, which are A, B and Z from the inside to the outside. On the code discs of the A and B code channels, there are transparent slits at equal distances, and adjacent slits on the two code tracks are offset by half a slit width, and the third code channel Z only has a slit for indicating the code used to represent the encoder zero. A light source and a photosensitive element are respectively mounted on both sides of the code wheel. when the encoder rotation, the light source passes through the light transmitting and opaque areas, and accordingly, each code track will have a series of pulses output from the photosensitive element. How many pulses are there on the code track, and how many pulse outputs are available. Common output methods include open collector output, long line drive output, and push-pull output.
Elevator encoder use requirements
The main performance requirements for elevator encoders are: high precision; high sensitivity; reliable operation; good stability; strong anti-interference ability; good dynamic characteristics; simple structure; low cost.
The main items to be inspected are: appearance; spindle starting torque; allowable speed; allowable shaft load (axial and radial); inertia moment; vibration resistance; impact resistance; high temperature resistance; anti-interference ability; Current consumption; output signal amplitude and phase relationship; phase difference variation (phase degree); output pulse accuracy (resolution); duty cycle; rise and fall time; response frequency; average life.
