Incremental Rotary Encoders!

Incremental rotary encoders are position and speed feedback parts or devices that provide incremental counts. Thus, an incremental encoder provides relative position, where the feedback signal is always referenced to a start or home position. Each mechanical position is uniquely defined for incremental encoders. The current position sensed is only incremental when compared to the last position sensed.


ROUNDSS incremental encoders are the main products provided. They are also called optical encoders, optical incremental encoders, or magnetic encoders, magnetic incremental encoders because they utilize optical technology or magnetic Hall effect sensing technology. Roundss supplies both optical transmissive incremental encoders and optical reflective incremental encoders.


Roundss incremental rotary encoders could be used in many applications, such as spinning machine, weaving machine, door, CNC machine, spindle, servo motor,  stepper motor, robotics,medical machines, lathe, airline,energy and so on.


Roundss incremental encoders are available as encoder modules for integration by the user or as complete housed or kit incremental encoders.


Encoders are used in all types of motion sensing applications, including machine tooling, semiconductor positioning and multi-axis positioning. All Roundss encoders feature a reinforced aluminum diecast casing and come equipped with a one-meter cable or rugged connector.

 

Mounting brackets and flexible couplings in aluminum and glass reinforced resin are also available.
