Get the right encoder,and you will get if fast ！

There is nothing more frustrating than getting exactly what you ordered… and realizing it won’t work. When you’re ordering mechanical equipment, that can be an expensive mistake.

"When you're determining which encoder is right for your application, sometimes it's just about knowing which questions to ask. Are you measuring angle or speed? Then you need a rotary encoder. Do you need to measure distance? That requires a linear encoder solution. Are you mounting on a shaft? Then you need to determine if you need a thru-bore or a hollow bore," explains Wes Parrish, Encoder Product Company’s Technical Services Manager. "There are a lot of things to consider." And it can be overwhelming.

Choose the right parameter

1, mechanical dimensions: includes a positioning spigot, shaft, mounting holes; cable and outlet; installation space volume; environment protection level meets the requirements.
2, resolution: that when the number of encoder output pulses per turn, whether to meet the design requirements for the use of precision.
3, the electrical connection: encoder output common push-pull output (F-type HTL format), the voltage output (E), open collector (C, common C for the NPN-tube output, C2 PNP type tube output), long drive output. Its output interface circuit and should match its control system
