Principle of  Draw-wire position sensors

Draw-wire position sensors, rope length gauges, rope length transmitters, pull wire sensor, linear position sensor, draw wire displacement sensor or string pots are just some of the names of the widespread forms of displacement measurement sensors, all of which are based on a principle like that of the household tape measure.

Draw-wire displacement sensors measure linear movements using a highly flexible steel cable. The cable drum is attached to a sensor element which provides a proportional output signal.

Digital Signal Output Type 
Incremental encoder and absolute encoder are optional for the digital signal output type. Output signals are square wave ABZ signals or Gray code signals. Measurement range is up to 1000mm. Linear accuracy: 0.05% FS. Resolution based on the different configuration can reach 0.001mm / pulse in maximum. Max. protection class: IP65. Working temperature: -40 ° C-+90 ° C. 

Analog Signal Output Type
Imported precision potentiometers, Hall encoder, and absolute encoder are optional for the analog signal output type.The output signals: current 4-20 mA, voltage 0-5V , voltage voltage 0-10V, serial SSI and resistance signals. The maximum stroke can reach 10000MM. Max. protection class: IP65. Working temperature : -40 ° C-+90 ° C.

Note: 

Wrong wiring may damage the sensor

Make sure wire in the power off state

Do not let go after wire is pulled out, otherwise the sensor could be easily damaged

Do not exceed the total length of the wire 

Please ensure the cleanness of the equipment and wire line to prolong the service life

Avoid external force 

1.Digital signal output model:measuring range and resolution are optional based on user requirement.

2.Analog signal output model: measuring range is optional. Resolutions can be infinitesimal in theory.

3.Special model can be customized.
